Circuit boards with lights in epoxy in a table

Circuit boards with lights in epoxy in a table

Circuit board table in 10 steps Step 1 The Idea. putting boards like these in epoxy in a table ..but.. .. what table? at last I found this table online the modern steel legs will go well with the boards Step 2 Preparation. the wood of the old table was discolored and the steel was dirty so with paint stripper I removed old layers of varnish (I used a scrape card for that) and I cleaned the steel the backs of the boards had to be really flat first I tried to remove components with a soldering iron but the fastest way was with pliers Step 3 Making room. mmm.. how would I be putting the boards in? I mean, in what shape? I chose the simple strip shape I cut that shape to depth with the saw .. to about 25 mm I took out a 25 x 4 grid with the router the remaining blocks, I chiseled out big pieces with the grain of the wood the rest sideways and after cleaning it was ready for.. Step 4 Putting the boards in. I didn’t want to see any wood in the small spaces next to the boards so I put in this aluminium tape then it was just a puzzle here and there I had to .. .. force a board down with a screw because the middle name of my workshop .. .. is ‘dust’ .. I figured I had to make a tent before pouring epoxy Step 5 Making a tent. nothing fancy, just two tent-shaped ends connected by wood on the sides strips .. .. covered with garbage bags some boards were still loose for the following step they needed to be fixed so this was the first pour with epoxy last chance to position the boards Step 7 Putting in the LEDs (that are no longer LEDs 🙂 I wanted lights to light up but without electricity .. no cables or batteries .. nah .. so I thought of fiber optic cable and I took a normal LED drilled a hole in the bottom broke off the wires .. and stuck a fiber cable in then I drilled holes in the boards and stuck the (glued) fibers in this block with a hole .. is the focal point for the fiber cables I pulled the fibers through .. .. glued them in .. .. and cut them off funny: you can see the colors of the LEDs just to make sure .. I poured in the LEDs so far, so good .. on to .. Step 8 The Big Pour. witness .. the pouring of .. 7 liters epoxy the epoxy revealed .. the table is bent in the middle so I had to pour extra at the sides Step 9 Sanding don’t ask me why .. .. but I recorded all of the sanding so now I know .. .. it took me a total of 2.5 hours with 60, 100, 180 and 320 grit Step 10 Finish the original plan was .. .. to sand and polish the epoxy instead I decided to pour an extra layer I’ll explain later why I sanded the wood one last time and gave it some coats of Danish Oil>The End Result Epilogue So? Success or Fail? well, opposite of what you might think after watching this video the table was a fail What? Why? Somewhere in the process, and I’m not exactly sure where, the epoxy got not mixed well enough. That resulted in sticky soft spots and very ugly spots wait, let me show you Couldn’t it be repaired? that’s why I tried to put another layer over it all – what you just saw in the ‘finish’-part of the video but that didn’t help at all there were so many soft spots at the sides, that the sticky epoxy kept crawling up and out so not only were there ugly spots IN the epoxy, the table being permanently sticky, made it as good as useless Bummer! Yeah, I was quite upset by this, because 95 percent of the epoxy is fine and it is very nice to look at the many details of the circuit boards and to play with the lights What now? well, I guess I have to take my loss and see it as a learning thing What will you do with the table? I’m not sure yet. I’ll keep it for now and think about it. really getting it right would mean to make an extra groove at the sides, between the wood and the epoxy, with a router or a saw and chisel the failed epoxy out that would be a lot of work, so .. I guess I’ll sleep on it for a while Although the table might not be a complete success, just maybe you learned something of the video, or maybe you found the video entertaining. If you liked the video (not the table) please like the video and subscribe to the channel. See you in our next video!

Matt Riddle injured, Tommaso Ciampa cleared: WWE Now, Oct. 3, 2019

I’m Matt Camp for WWE now at full sail and
after NXT’s two hour premier debut on the USA Network, it’s
time to check in on the NXT injury report. NXT fans were rocked by the return of
Tommaso Ciampa after he confronted NXT champion Adam Cole at the conclusion
of NXT’s two-hour premiere on USA. After a furious rehab
following next surgery, Ciampa has been medically cleared. The main event saw Kyle O’Reilly and
Bobby Fish retain the NXT tag team championship in a thrilling
battle with the Street Prophets. However, O’Reilly injured his
shoulder in the victory, and has an AC sprain,
his status is day-to-day. Despite a valiant effort, Candice LeRae submitted to Shayna Baszler
in the NXT Women’s Championship match. As a result of the contest,
LeRae suffered a neck contusion and is considered day-to-day. Shane Thorne nearly pulled off
the biggest victory of his career against Johnny Gargano but the
triple crown winner stood tall in the end. Thorne is day-to-day with an AC sprain. NXT on USA opened up with Matt Riddle
unsuccessfully challenging Adam Cole for the NXT Championship, after Cole hit
the Original Bro with the cast on his injured right arm en route to victory. Riddle is currently not
medically cleared for action. Keep checking back to WWE’s digital and
social channels for further updates on the injury report. And make sure to tune in
live next Wednesday at 8:00, 7:00 Central on the USA Network.

Leaf Relief® Continuous Hanging System

Leaf Relief® Continuous Hanging System

Gutters help protect your home and save you
from major headaches. They prevent seepage in the foundation and
roof by collecting and directing rain water away from the building. Traditionally, gutters were installed with
hangers (or nails) spaced 18 inches apart, creating weak spots that compromise the structure
of the system during freeze/thaw cycles. Clogged by ice, gutters could not evacuate
melt water properly causing infiltrations and damage to the residents. Furthermore, spaces hangers left the gutter
open – exposing the corner sealant to UV rays and prone to clogging with leaves and
debris. As opposed to traditional space hangers that
warp under heavy snow and expanding ice (leaving your home susceptible to leaks), the Leaf
Relief® Continuous Hanger equipped with self-sealing screws secures gutters evenly along their
entire length so they last longer, look better and perform flawlessly. Equipped with patented Ply Gem technologies,
the membrane forms a barrier that keeps snow, ice, leaves, needles and other debris that
can damage the system and disrupt the flow of water out of the gutter. It also acts as a UV shade protecting the
sealant from direct sunlight and eliminating corner leaks. Built to last – the Leaf Relief® Continuous
Hanger is made of heavy aluminum and comes with a 25-year clog-free warranty, ensuring
the quality and durability of your system for years to come.

Marcus Rashford forced off with injury at West Ham as Man Utd’s striker situation worsens

Marcus Rashford was forced off with an injury in Manchester United’s clash with West Ham – causing huge problems up front for the Red Devils  Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is currently without Anthony Martial, while Europa League hero Mason Greenwood is out of action with the flu  Rashford was named in the United squad to lead the line against West Ham.  But he pulled up with an injury on the hour mark and was forced to make way for Jesse Lingard, who is a winger by trade  This leaves United, who have been goal shy in recent weeks, without a forward and in a potentially worrying situation  Reacting to the injury Nevile said on Sky Sports: “You think of the money United have spent £900m nearly. That’s a hell of a lot of money to have any centre forwards.”  Manchester United have managed only eight goals in five games so far this season while the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City have netted 11 and 18 respectively

5 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Working Through An INJURY

Help support us on Patreon or… uh uh oh… Oh!
Ah why do we even bother with this sh*t! Samoa Joe has dealt with his fair share of
injuries since joining the main roster back in January 2017. In the space of just one
year, Samoa Joe has suffered two injuries keeping him out wrestling for a total of five
months. The first being a knee injury which he suffered at a house show keeping him out
for two months. And the second being a foot injury which rendered him out of action for
three months during a match he had against Titus O’Neil. But as of late, WWE creative
haven’t really done much with Samoa Joe and that maybe due to an undisclosed injury
that Samoa Joe is dealing with. Rumour has it that Samoa Joe is dealing with another
foot injury as he was spotted backstage at Smackdown in a walking boot. If this is the
case, Samoa Joe is just going to have to take some more time off to recover. I’m sure
Wendy won’t mind… As you’ve all probably noticed already,
the five-time women’s champion Alexa Bliss hasn’t been wrestling on TV since losing
to Ronda Rousey at Hell in a Cell and that’s due to her suffering multiple concussions
in a short period of time. As she hasn’t been medically cleared to wrestle, WWE are
in no rush to get her back into the ring which most likely explains why WWE chose to put
her in an authority role. Well… there goes my no nut November! She was chosen to be the
captain of the Raw Women’s Survivor Series team by Constable Corbin, giving her the power
to pick her team rather than being able to compete in the team. Despite lots of rumours
circulating online about the future of Little Miss Bliss, she was sure to squash these rumours
with a tweet saying: “I’m not going anywhere,” accompanied with a GIF of Arnold Schwarzenegger
saying: “I’ll be back.” With pretty much half the WWE roster concealing
some sort of injury, another addition is The Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal. There are
reports that he could be working through another shoulder injury. During Mahal’s reign as
WWE champion last year… remember that? When he actually used to win matches… Mahal was
battling through a shoulder injury after he tore his right labrum. He revealed this information
to Jeff Cavaliere during a workout video they did on the Athlean-X YouTube channel. But
as of now, it seems like Jinder Mahal is going through a similar problem again. He is still
continuing to appear and compete on Monday Night Raw despite his shoulder injury. Maybe,
instead of spreading his teachings of “mantra” to others, he should use those teachings on
himself. Jinder, take a deep breath and repeat after me… “Shanti!” Bobby Lashley or as Lio Rush better puts it:
“My Man – Bobby Lashley” like others on this list is dealing with an undisclosed
injury. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bobby Lashley is actually suffering
from a separated shoulder which is said to be causing him a lot of pain. But it seems
Lashley is not going to let this interfere with his heel run as he is still continuing
to wrestle despite having a separated shoulder! It wouldn’t be the first time Lashley has
dealt with a shoulder injury as he damaged his rotator cuff back in 2007. As far as how
Bobby Lashley’s heel run is going, Lio Rush is certainly doing his job making him a hated
heel… Unfortunately, Lashley hasn’t really made a big impact as a heel due to his shoulder
injury but that might change soon if he decides to take some time off to recover as separated
shoulders usually take between 6 to 12 weeks to heal. But if not, maybe we’ll get another
Bobby Lashley vs Finn Bálor match if we are lucky… After suffering a heart-breaking loss at WWE
Crown Jewel against The Beast Brock Lesnar, The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman hasn’t
really been pushed as of late and that may be down to two reasons. Injury and backstage
heat. According to the Observer Radio, Braun Strowman has been wrestling with an injury
for the last several weeks. His knees are said to be “shot” and the F5 spot he took
from Brock Lesnar from the ring to the outside at Crown Jewel may have made his knee problem
a lot worse. The poor guy can’t even run properly… As well as this, Braun Strowman
is said to be “his own worst enemy” backstage according to PWInsider, as he has developed
a reputation for showing up late to shows and leaving a little early. This has been
speculated to be the primary reason to why Strowman did not win the Universal Championship
at Crown Jewel in what was essentially a squash match.
