5 Hidden Gems Thriller Movie 2019

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel. 2019 has been a great year for thriller fans,
John Wick and Knives Out, among others, were highly entertaining. Today we’ll take a look at 5 great titles
that might not be as popular but still have good quality and surprisingly excellent performances. I will try to include variety of choice from
action, mystery and even comedy, Number 5. Hotel Mumbai Based on a true event, Hotel Mumbai is a story
about 2008 terrorist attack on Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. It follows the staffs and guests of the hotel
as they try to survive the grueling attack. There’s always concern on recreating a piece
of history, but Hotel Mumbai is carefully crafted for the suspense while also maintaining
respect for original source. Cinematography takes full advantage of the
gorgeous hotel scenery. This is a survival tale from dusk till dawn
told with great perspective. Lesser movies would use quick editing, but
here Hotel Mumbai knows how to handle its action scenes, and presents the full scope
of the event without being too exaggerated. This means Hotel Mumbai is not going to be
another Die Hard. There’s quite the power dynamic between
the hotel crews and the guests, mainly a couple from England and a shady character from Russia. However, Hotel Mumbai also gives ample time
to the police, bystanders, and even the terrorists themselves. We witness their motivation or how they fare
under pressure, and with good controlled pacing, it never feels overwhelming. While it excels on the technical department,
the human drama makes Hotel Mumbai a compelling watch, and at times even humble and honest. Number 4. Triple Frontier Half action thriller and half heist drama,
Triple Frontier is the more gritty and high-octane movie on the list. Story follows a private military contractor
who comes into information about a rich and cruel drug lord in South America. As it was written in heist movie textbook,
the rogue hero must negotiate with the informant, assemble his misfit crew and eventually tries
to hit the drug lord, lethally and financially. It has quite the star power with Ben Affleck,
Charlie Hunnam and Oscar Isaac signing up for the military oriented team. For a heist movie, it’s quite a straightforward
one, relying more on the action. Fortunately, the characters have more depth
than just ordinary gunslingers. Credit to the actors who bring intensity,
flaws and conflict to the screen with strong performances. A few unorthodox spins to the formula keep
it interesting, and show the chemistry between characters as they are put in one predicament
after another. Triple Frontier is beautifully shot, not many
heist movies are set in jungle or mountain but the cinematography here holds up pretty
well, especially on the second act. The grimy rainy visual adds more to the atmosphere,
and it doesn’t let up when it goes into combat either. Momentum might slow down a bit towards the
end but for those wanting action heist thriller, Triple frontier is a solid watch. Number 3. Daniel Isn’t Real This movie proves that an old fashioned formula
can still be engaging with good execution and performance. The story follows Luke, a young photographer
and student who has an imaginary friend, Daniel. Both the main leads deliver amazing performances. Miles Robbins as Luke captures the dread of
being haunted by mental illness. While Patrick Schwarzenegger, yes, the son
of Arnold, plays the more dominant and often cruel Daniel. The premise may seem familiar, but there’s
enough thrill and twist to elevate the movie into something more than a cliché. There’s clever dialogue and use of psychological
tension to keep you guessing and without spoiling anything it has excellent elements from horror
and mystery as well. I’d even say Daniel Isn’t Real brings
more horror than some of its peers from this year, while still maintaining strong grip
on the psychological aspect. Luke would appear normal at times but we can
see he is slowly consumed by the struggle, the movie takes good care on the theme of
mental trauma. Both the little gestures as sign of anxiety
and the more grandeur horror element are presented with equal excellence. It’s a terrifying and also a contemplating
experience. Number 2. Ready or Not Perhaps the best marriage of comedy and thriller
from this year, Ready or Not is such a fun ride through family feud. Story revolves around Grace who is married
to a rich family. There’s only one catch, she must play a
random game on midnight of the weeding night. The game takes a malicious turn into a survival
game, with Grace as the unwitting participant. Ready or Not is directed in concise and enjoyable
fashion. It jumps from comedic scene to sometimes horror
slasher flick with such ease and delight. The characters are so fun to watch in all
of their dysfunctional glory. These are rich spoiled unpleasant people and
the movie gives all the sweet joy of unbridled revenge thriller. The visual is over the top with every scene
filled with riches and opulence, making more impact as the contrasting carnage hits. It’s funny almost the entire time, yet there’s
a good piece of drama as well. Ready or Not is a festivity, unapologetically
entertaining, unexpectedly gory, and it’s absolutely one of the most fun I’ve had
with thriller from this year. Number 1. Uncut Gems Adam Sandler just came out of nowhere with
Uncut Gems, not only it’s a far cry from his usual comedy antic, but it’s also one
of his best works. There’s a level of energy here other films
just cannot replicate. Story follows Adam Sandler’s character Howard,
a man who runs a jewel store in New York as he lies, gambles and digs himself into increasingly
dangerous situations. Uncut Gems looks like a crime drama thriller
out of the 80s or Grand Theft Auto video games. It’s grimy, loud and it presents New York
bloody dirty secret in back alley dealings and glittering penthouse affair. It’s a crazy ride without any breaks, some
of the scenes are so absurd, like Kevin Garnett using a gem to boost his basketball mojo,
yet these shenanigans are so damn captivating. Cinematography is on a different league, it
conveys so much of the setting. You would feel both uncomfortable and familiar
at the same time as Howard meets with questionable characters, making just as questionable decisions. There are so many subplots and characters
thrown at the screen relentlessly. Most movie would falter on at least one aspect,
but uncut Gems struts with so much confidence you’d believe it cannot fail, and it doesn’t. Uncut Gems is nothing less than a treasure
for thriller genre, it’s a dirty crime thriller in the most glittering captivating spectacle. That’s it for the list, thank you so much
for watching. Please leave a like, comment and subscribe. I make 3 videos every week, have a great and
I’ll see you in the next one.

Urology – Urinary Tract Injuries: By Lee Zhao M.D. & Darren Bryk M.D.

The urinary tract consists of the kidneys,
ureters, bladder and urethra. The majority of urinary tract injuries are
due to blunt trauma. The kidney is the most commonly injured urinary
tract organ and is particularly vulnerable to deceleration injuries. Evaluation begins by assessing the patient’s
hemodynamic status. Immediate surgical intervention is mandatory
if the patient is unstable. If the patient is stable and either hematuria
is seen or the mechanism of trauma suggests kidney injury, IV contrast-enhanced abdominal/pelvic
CT with immediate and delayed images is necessary. Most kidney injuries are managed conservatively
with observation, bed rest, hydration, hematocrit monitoring and antibiotics. Bladder injuries are often associated with
pelvic trauma. A stable patient with gross hematuria, pelvic
ring fracture or suspicious mechanism of trauma is evaluated via cystography. Extraperitoneal bladder injuries require catheter
drainage and observation, while intraperitoneal injuries require surgical repair to prevent
peritonitis. Posterior urethral injuries are also associated
with pelvic trauma. Prompt urinary drainage should be performed
via suprapubic or urinary catheter. Urethral re-alignment can be attempted endoscopically
in a stable patient but should not be prolonged. Anterior urethral injuries are often caused
by perineal trauma called straddle injuries. Patients may present with blood at the meatus,
perineal hematoma, inability to void, or suspicious mechanism of trauma, associated with bicycle
riding or playing on monkey bars. Males may have penile, scrotal or testicular
pain, ecchymosis or swelling, un-palpable testicle on exam, and unilateral absence of
the cremasteric reflex. Females may have vaginal bleeding; if the
hymen or posterior fourchette is injured, sexual abuse is suspected. With suspicion of child abuse, it is imperative
to examine the entire body to note other abuse-related injuries. For all suspected urethral injuries, retrograde
urethrogram is the standard imaging modality used. With severe scrotal pain or swelling or with
an abnormal testicular examination, ultrasound with Doppler flow to evaluate the scrotum
is necessary. It is important to recognize the signs and
symptoms of urinary tract injuries early. Though most injuries are not life threatening,
a delay in treatment can lead to significant morbidity. With severe injury, definitive management
will require consultation with a surgical specialist.

Non-Surgical Fracture Episode of Care

Non-Surgical Fracture Episode of Care

Introducing the Non-Surgical Fracture Episode of Care, the first course of rehabilitation for people with non-surgical fractures. People with non-surgical fractures often need rehabilitation after their workplace injury. We know that you share our commitment to helping people get the treatment they need so they can recover and safely return to work. The non-surgical fracture episode of care is a new payment model that bundles rehabilitation services and fees. The bundled plan includes an initial assessment and report; treatment; outcome measurement; communications; and, a summary report. To deliver the best treatment possible for people with non-surgical fractures, we want to work with you to make sure that the treatment is focused on functional recovery, and we communicate with each other about functional status and return-to-work planning. Check that the person receiving treatment meets all the program criteria before you begin to deliver care. The target population criteria is listed on our website. During the initial assessment you’ll provide goals to support recovery and return to work; care to help achieve these goals; a treatment plan; and recommendations for return to work. The treatment you deliver during the program must support the recovery and return-to-work goals you identified during the initial assessment. The person in care can receive treatment for up to eight weeks. They must attend a minimum of six visits for you to bill the fullprogram fee. At both the first and final visit you will provide the person receiving care with an updated list of recommendations for return to work, which they will share with their employer. For more information, please visit the healthcare practitioners section of our website at www.wsib.on.ca or call 1-800-387-0750.

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

[ Music ]>>Interviewer: The Brain Injury
Guide and Resources is a tool for professionals,
community members and family to understand Traumatic
Brain Injury as well as how to promote better living for
those who live with a TBI. In this interview we will
talk with John Harper, assistant director of
mental health services in the Missouri Division of
Vocational Rehabilitation Office of Adult Learning
and Rehabilitation. We’ll be discussing Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
services for TBI survivors. And John, thank you very
much for being with us. We appreciate it.>>John Harper: I’m
glad to be here.>>Interviewer: First of
all, what is the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
and what are its primary goals?>>John Harper: The Vocational
Rehabilitation is the state agency in Missouri administering
the federal program under the Rehabilitation Act. The Rehabilitation Act is those
services that are provided under the federal law to assist
persons with disabilities with going back to work.>>Interviewer: And what are
the types of services provided by your division
related to education and then also employment?>>John Harper: Certainly. Well, really the focus,
the goal, is going to work from our services, and
if you can imagine any of the related services
that could support going to work, including education. We help people with retraining,
if need be, to go to work, attending college,
junior college courses, certificate training
programs and so forth. We also have some very
specialized services called supported employment. So let’s say an individual
is just interested in going back to work. We help them find a job, and we provide something called
job coaching services to assist that individual with
learning the job again, or having somebody to talk about
the relationships while working, all of those activities that
a lot of us take for granted.>>Interviewer: And does your
agency work with other agencies that might help people
with a TBI?>>John Harper: Certainly. Certainly. That’s one of the keys to the Vocational
Rehabilitation program. Really, administratively as
an agency, a federal agency, we’ve been around oh, I
guess about 85 to 90 years. So we started doing this
just after World War I as an agency federally, and
really had set the routine of collaborating
and coordinating with various agencies
across the country. VR initially was working with
Veterans returning to work, and started reaching out really
into the educational field. And that’s where we’re
located at the federal program.>>Interviewer: And how does a
person with a TBI get involved with your organization?>>John Harper: If an individual
is interested in our services, they merely need to contact
one of our 25 district offices across the state and request
to have an appointment with counselor, and that
counselor will walk them through the eligibility
process and describe to them the services that they
might have available to them to support them to
return to work.>>Interviewer: How successful
is your program, John? Are you able to get
people back to work?>>John Harper: Oh,
we’re highly successful. I’m very proud of
the Missouri program. Typically out of
the 85 VR agencies, the State of Missouri general
program is usually one, number one or number
two, in the country. Our success rate typically
is around 65 percent of the individuals that
we’ve provided services to go back to work. Very oftentimes those that
maybe don’t have a job, they usually return back to us because something is
going on in their lives. They just can’t move forward
yet, so they come back and then we’re successful
with them at a later date.>>Interviewer: So is it
typically maybe some other organization that
refers people to you? Is that how they get to you?>>John Harper: Well, yes. Certainly,it’s not unusual
for individuals that are, especially with Traumatic Brain
Injury, their treatment team to contact a VR counselor
and bring them in to the process
very early just to start creating some
relationship with the survivor and the family to have that
discussion about employment. One of the things that
we very often like to do in the VR agency is try to
help that person go back to the job they had
previously and retain that job. We can do many things working
with the individual as well as the employer to make
that transition back to work more effective.>>Interviewer: What if
the individual is not sure if they can go back
to work, John? Should they still
contact your agency?>>John Harper: Yes, certainly., hey should contact our agency. One of the primary services
we provide is Vocational Rehabilitation Guides
and counseling. Very oftentimes it
becomes a matter of timing for an individual, a survivor
of Traumatic Brain Injury, to make that determination,of
what’s the appropriate point that I need to go back to work, hen should I start
exploring that? Because there are many
factors regarding that, especially fatigue, and
it’s a primary factor.>>Interviewer: All right. John Harper, thanks so
much for being with us. We appreciate it.>>John Harper: Thank
you very much.>>Interviewer: And thank you
for watching this interview on Vocational Rehabilitation
Services After TBI, a service of the Brain
Injury Guide and Resources. [ Music ]

With parts of the Bahamas still underwater, how relief organizations will deploy

With parts of the Bahamas still underwater, how relief organizations will deploy

Let’s hear more now about how relief groups
are approaching this disaster with the perspective of a coordinator who has organized responses
in previous crises. She’s Susan Mangicaro. She heads up that effort for the International
Medical Corps, a nonprofit group of volunteer doctors and nurses who deliver emergency health
carry and other services. She joins us from Orlando via Skype, before
she heads to the Bahamas. Susan Mangicaro, thank you so much for talking
with us. First of all, tell us what your organization,
in a nutshell, what it does in these situations. SUSAN MANGICARO, International Medical Corps:
Hi. Well, thank you for having us on. International Medical Corps provides emergency
disaster relief and humanitarian aid across the globe. And in a situation such as we have with Dorian,
where a disaster strikes an impacted area, we work cohesively with the government and
the affected area and provide and coordinate for medical care to be delivered in the most
impacted areas. JUDY WOODRUFF: So, at this point, what do
you know about what the need is in the Bahamas? SUSAN MANGICARO: Well, very early stages. And there’s a bit of a lack of communication
at this point in time. However, we do know, as most are aware, the
island has been dramatically impacted. Most health care systems are nonfunctioning,
with minimal support. So, ourselves, as well as several other agencies
are coordinating to be sure that we can provide the relief with doctors, nurses and health
care supplies in the most impacted areas. JUDY WOODRUFF: Are you confident at this point
that you are going to be able to get into the Bahamas? SUSAN MANGICARO: Yes, we are. We are working both with public and private
organizations. We have a flight scheduled tomorrow for a
six-person team, doctors, myself, medical coordinators, as well as logisticians, to
fly into Nassau. From there, we will work with the coordinating
agencies and the government of the Bahamas, and work to go to the most impacted areas,
either by boat or private flights or commercial flights, when available. JUDY WOODRUFF: We were just speaking on the
“NewsHour” with our correspondent who is in Nassau, who was telling us about the bottleneck
there. He said there are so many relief agencies,
other individuals there who want to get the help, the food and other material they have
out, but they just don’t have a way to land on places like Abaco because the water is
still very high. SUSAN MANGICARO: Yes, absolutely. And that’s why we work cohesively under the
direction of the government both with local and international agencies to coordinate care. Not uncommon initially. This happens often in impacted areas by flood
or tornadoes, hurricanes. And we coordinate effectively, so that we
make sure we’re bringing resources as quickly as possible. It often takes a little bit of time to get
into the area, as you mentioned, with airports being underwater. But, eventually, we are able to coordinate
efforts through private and public organizations who donate resources to get us to where we
need to be to take care of the people that need the care the most. JUDY WOODRUFF: So, your doctors and nurses
will literally be trying to get to individuals in need, whether on Abaco or Grand Bahama
Island or somewhere else? SUSAN MANGICARO: Yes. Initially, as I mentioned, we will fly into
Nassau and determine where the greatest needs are, working in conjunction with the government. And then we will determine by assessment. We have our assessment team going out to see
where the greatest needs are, where the greatest impact is, and where we can distribute resources
effectively. As I mentioned, we have been in contact already
with several different agencies that have boats to kind of bring us to the various different
islands, and be sure that we’re safely bringing our staff, who will be self-sufficient, into
regions to take care of those that are impacted. JUDY WOODRUFF: And, just quickly, do you try
to set up clinics where you go, or can you just work basically in a very limited set
of circumstances? SUSAN MANGICARO: Yes, we can do just about
anything. We have the ability and we have offered the
ability to set up a clinic seeing 100 patients a day that’s self-standing. We can set up mobile clinics. We can send small strike teams. We’re very flexible, because we’re accustomed
to doing this. This is what we do. We deal with disasters all the time, so we
have the flexibility to be totally independent, running a clinic that’s self-standing, or
have mobile teams go out and try to see and treat patients where they’re — where they
happen to be in their locations. JUDY WOODRUFF: Susan Mangicaro with the International
Medical Corps, they are planning to go into the Bahamas tomorrow. Susan, thank you very much. And good luck with all you’re doing. SUSAN MANGICARO: Thank you so much.

Seth Opens Up On WWE HIAC Ending! Cain Velasquez Injured! Hogan vs Vince! Wrestling News!

Seth Opens Up On WWE HIAC Ending! Cain Velasquez Injured! Hogan vs Vince! Wrestling News!

Here’s your News for October
9th 2019 We’re looking ahead to Friday today,
as it seems two expected WWE
matches are about to be made official. Yesterday, the company
announced a press conference
at noon Pacific time at the T-Mobile Arena is Los Angeles, where, stars
like Triple H, Braun Strowman, new
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar Paul Heyman, Cain Velasquez,
Tyson Fury and Rey Mysterio
will appear. As of last week, Lesnar Vs.
Velasquez and Strowman Vs.
Fury was reportedly planned for Crown Jewel on October 31,
and it seems this conference will
publicly confirm those matches.
Velasquez, who has made the
jump from UFC, debuting on
SmackDown’s premiere on FOX, attacking Lesnar just moments
after he won the WWE title
from Kofi Kingston. A confrontation between
Strowman and Fury also took
place during the blue show, which led to a brawl between
the two monsters headling the
latest Monday Night RAW. This press conference will take
place shortly before the start
of the WWE Draft though it is possible that the
Velasquez-Lesnar bout won’t
be announced. In his SmackDown debut, fans
will have noticed the big knee
brace on the former UFC UFC Heavyweight Champ’s leg
and Dave Meltzer noted on
Wrestling Observer Radio that the Lesnar match may
have to be postponed due to
Cain needing knee surgery. “They could do Cain [at
WrestleMania vs Brock Lesnar]
you know do a one and one, Cain gets the surgery and comes
back, but if Cain gets the surgery
I’m not sure he’s back if he gets full reconstructive
surgery on that knee… let’s
say he gets it in November, he’s missing Mania for sure, not
even a chance. Maybe he can
get minor surgery and be back…
maybe.” Given the star-power of
Velasquez, the WWE would be wise not to force him to compete at
Crown Jewel, though the Saudi
Arabian deal has led to many matches matches happening that fans would
never have believed. At this point, it seems all WWE can
do is wait and see how major of a surgery for the former UFC Champion
needs. From a former UFC Heavyweight
Champ to the reigning Universal
Champion, as Seth Rollins hasn’t had a great
time since Hell in a Cell. Retaining the title in a very controversial
way, the fans at the Golden One Center booed the show heavily, demanded a
refund and chanted for AEW. After one fan held a sign saying “Seth
Rollins is Not Cool”, the Beast Slayer went to Twitter to use it as a
hashtag in a tweet about
surviving and prevailing. While Rollins can talk about Surviving
and prevailing all he wants, the irony
is that the Beast slayer recently quit Twitter, after the site
proved to be too much, though not
before he criticized Sasha Banks. In a scathing tweet, Rollins called
out the boss for quote “under-
delivering and continuing to wonder why” she’s not in more main events,
and given that Sasha’s match at Hell
in a Cell was one of the best of
the night, whilst Rollins’ match ended
up a mess, this tweet definitely
hasn’t aged well. Rollins certainly has had an interesting
time trying to win over fans on Twitter,
as after calling WWE the best pro wrestling in the world,
got into a spat with Will O’Spreay,
that made the Universal Champion look very
petty when he compared the
pair’s bank balances. Clearly, the main event upset a lot
of fans, and this was reflected in
the red brand’s viewing figures, as the show averaged 2.33 million
viewers, down about 200,000
from last week. Whilst last week’s RAW did do
well thanks to the appearance
of legends like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, this sharp drop is
likely due to Hell in a Cell. Breaking it down, hour one
overage 2.44 million, which
dipped to 2.33 million in in hour two, before settling at
2.23 million in hour three. Though losing nearly a quarter of
a million viewers from last week’s
show isn’t good in any way, it could’ve been much worse, so
hopefully WWE will have learned
their lesson after Hell in a Cell. On this week’s RAW, the love
triangle between Lana,
Lashley and Rusev continued, culminating with a promo where a
topless Lana shared a bed with
the man who isn’t her husband. There was little remorse for the
Ravishing Russian, as she
explained the angle in a backstage
video last week, and recently
tweeted a picture to taunt her
estranged husband. In the tweet, Lana included a picture
of her and Lashley in bed together,
telling fans she was living her best life, as she doesn’t seem sorry
at all for breaking Rusev’s heart,
as well as his bank account. This isn’t the first time fans have
seen a love triangle in wrestling,
but we’ll just have to wait and see where this one goes, as it seems
that the Ravishing Russian is
having a lot of fun with her new role. Hall of Famer news now as Mike
Johnson of PW Insider reported
this week that 2012 inductee Edge Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on what
is being described as “WWE
business”, the same city where WWE’s head of Medical, Dr Joseph
Maroon is situated. Ever since Edge hit that spear on
the Summerslam kick-off show,
there has been speculating of one more match, and these rumors
grew recently when Edge
announced he’d be leaving the Edge & Christian Pod of
Awesomeness due to scheduling
and time constraints. Last week, Dave Meltzer reported
that Edge had signed a new deal to
stay with WWE after negotiating with another company, and though
it wasn’t said who was WWE’s
rivals in the negotiations, it’s likely
to have been AEW. Meltzer also revealed that the idea
of Edge returning had been “privately
discussed” backstage in WWE, but given the injuries that forced him
to retire in 2011, there is no guarantee he’ll be ever cleared for another
match. The timing of Edge’s visit to Pittsburgh
is interesting, given WWE’s Crown
Jewel show on October 31st and the Saudi deal has led to many
stars fans thought they’d never
see wrestle again do just that, including Shawn
Michaels and Goldberg. From one Hall of Famer to another
now, as Hulk Hogan has said he hopes to have one last match,
despite being 66 years old. Hogan, who was brought back to
the company earlier this year, will
be a part of Crown Jewel 2 and will coach five WWE Superstars with
Jimmy Hart, who will take on
Team Flair. Though the former WWE Champion is
set to get his 8th back surgery soon,
Hogan told the Los Angeles Times that he hopes to have a match
next month at WrestleMania 36, in
his hometown of Tampa, saying: “I talked to Vince, and I said I really
don’t know if I could live with myself
knowing my last match was with TNA. If I can get [my back]
fixed, I pray I can have one more
match. I told Vince, ‘When I get through this back surgery, I’m going to get in
the best shape of my life and we’re

we’re going to talk about me having
one last retirement match.’ I’d love for it to be against Vince. I
had such a great time with him in
the ring at WrestleMania 19. I had no idea what to expect from him,
but he’s a great bad guy. His timing
is great. I loved wrestling him, but everything he does hurts. When
you’re in the ring with someone
and they’re hurting you, you kind of pinch them on the wrist, and the
whole match I was doing that to
Vince. I was like, ‘Vince, take it easy!’ Everything he does hurts, but I’d like
to get in the ring with him one more
time for my last match.” Whilst Hogan may be gearing up for
one last match in WWE, William
Regal may be preparing for a real-life fight, as he has some
serious beef with British
Wrestling’s Knight family. Recently, Roy Bevis, brother of WWE’s
Paige, took to Facebook to blast
the NXT GM, claiming Regal was deliberately keeping
him and his family out of the company. “Been told I can’t go to WWE tryouts
because I threatened a NXT
trainer, or whatever. That’s bullshit. The bottom line is,
[William] Regal, we heard he was
slagging my family off,” claimed Roy. “A lot of wrestlers told us he was
slagging us off, calling us poutine
scum and my dad’s a gangster. I mentioned to Mr. Regal, ‘what’s your
problem with my dad, what’s your
problem with my family? Why do you keep blocking us? If
you got an issue, I’ll come on my own to meet you at any
venue in the world and we can have
a chat about it. Or a shoot fight, whatever you want to do. Kick the shit
out of each other, shake hands,
get done with it. ‘ He messaged my dad and was really
nice to my dad. I messaged him
saying, ‘it’s done. Thanks a lot.’ Men like to speak to each other
because that’s what most men do. I’m not a ‘Yes Man’ like most people
you hire. I don’t know why you
keep carrying this on. “And James Mason, who also works
for [Regal] at NXT, a good
friend of mine, slept with the mother of my child a year
after we split up, which is fine. I
asked him man-to-man ten years ago, ‘Did you do it?’ He said, ‘No.’ Then I
found out he did. At the end of the
day, just be honest in life. I would never change who I am. I am
a mental health advocate because
I’ve been abused and beat up as a child. And you’re not going to break me, mate. I’ll just carry on doing the Indie scene
because the UK Hooligans are
the best tag team around. The best-known tag team. You’re
never gonna stop me doing it. At
the end of the day, you should pick people on talent, not
because they give you a little
twisty. I will never do that If I never go to WWE, I never go.
That’s fair enough. But don’t keep
talking shit and blocking my family” Regal didn’t directly respond to the
claims on Facebook, but did
address them on Twitter, telling Roy to give him a call if he has
a problem, and also mentioned that
threatening a shoot fight with a WWE staff member probably
isn’t the best idea if you want
to get hired. Roy, who has also wrestled as Zebra
Kid and under his real name Roy Knight, has previous convictions for multiple
assaults and spent time in jail
for drunk driving, something that obviously WWE will
have considered when they’ve
deliberated on signing him. Though Regal may not be a fan of
him, one person who is is
Roy’s sister Paige, who recently said that WWE should
sign both him and their brother Zak,
though Paige also said she’d be
leaving Twitter, which ended up being a swerve, so
it’ll be interesting to see where
things go from here. While Paige’s time as a Superstar
came to an abrupt end last year, one woman is not doing so great
herself is Sasha Banks. After coming up short in her RAW
Women’s Title Hell in a Cell
match to Becky Lynch, the Boss was reportedly injured,
though the details of the injury
are uncertain. Though Banks reportedly said she
doesn’t want the information out there, someone clearly leaked it, though we’re
still not sure when she’ll be back. More Women’s division news now as
Dave Meltzer discussed the
recent angle on RAW that saw the Kabuki Warriors defeat
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio,
Meltzer said that the plan is for an
Asuka-Becky feud, that will culminate with the Man
avenging her loss against the
Empress of Tomorrow. This week’s RAW saw a Champion’s
showcase tag team match, that ended when Asuka used the
green mist of Lynch to allow Kairi
Sane to get the pin, though the Irish Lasskicker took it upon
herself to wear the mist like a
badge of honor. For as good as Becky’s year has
been, it all started with a loss to Asuka
at the Royal Rumble, the same woman who took the
SmackDown Women’s title from her
at TLC 2018, and The Man even referenced this
on RAW, saying she’s been waiting
to fight Asuka for a long time. Many fans were surprised to see
Becky come out on top in her
feud with Sasha Banks and only time will tell whether Asuka
will be the one to take the RAW
Women’s title from her in the near
future. Although The Empress and the Man
may be locking horns very soon, one
Superstar fans haven’t seen in a while is Samoa Joe, who has
been out with a broken thumb,
according to the PW Insider. Obviously, this injury isn’t the most
serious of ailments, and Joe is
expected to be back as soon as he can be cleared, though there is
currently no timetable for his return. With the WWE draft scheduled for
this Friday’s SmackDown and
next week’s RAW, could the former US Champion
return then? Tune in to find out. We’ve got some worrying news now
as more details have emerged on
the recent arrest of Jeff Hardy. A police report obtained by TMZ has
said that Carthage Police in
North Carolina received a tip of a reckless driver on
October 3rd, and traced the car
which belonged to the former
WWE Champion. When they found the parked car,
Hardy was parked in front of a
liquor store, and Jeff was seen with two cases
of beer as well as dried blood
on his nose. Being pulled over shortly after, Hardy
told police that the blood was from
a fight with his wife, though a domestic dispute charge
was not filed. Hardy admitted to taking two shots
of vodka, and after failing a
sobriety test, was reportedly uncooperative when
asked for a breath or blood sample. Hardy, who was arrested for
Public Intoxication earlier this year, was booked with Driving While
Impaired and Driving on a
Revoked License, and will have his day in court
on November 7th. In a statement, WWE said “Jeff
Hardy is responsible for his own
actions” and though he may be popular, we can’t help but wonder how many
chances Jeff will get before he’s
let go by the company. Speaking of the law, the case of
Zachary Madsen continues, as
fans will remember him as the man accused of assaulting
Bret Hart at the Hall of Fame. A stupid thing to do in a room full
of fighters, Madson had a court
date of September 9th, but after skipping that, he was
arrested by authorities and appeared
in court on September 24th. Now, Madsen will have another
hearing on November 12th,
though he isn’t in custody so time will tell whether he
actually shows up. At this time, Madsen is still facing two
counts of assault in the third degree, as well as trespassing for jumping
the barricade, and if he is convicted, he could face one year in prison
for each assault charge. After all this legal drama, we’re going
to end on a lighter note, as WWE Studios is lining up another
TV project for the Big Show Paul Wight. Show already has a Netflix sitcom,
called The Big Show Show under
production, but this new show will see WWE team
with ITV America’s partner
Thinkfactory Media and has the working title ‘Big
Show Vs. The World: A Giant Abroad.’ Although the series doesn’t have a
home yet, it has been shopped
around to several networks and streaming services according
to the wrap, and in our opinion who wouldn’t want to watch the former
World Champion travel the world to
dig into local mysteries and legends? With his in-ring career seemingly over,
it seems that Show isn’t quite finished
entertaining fans around the world.

Communion Rail

Communion Rail

♪Music: The Lord’s Prayer by Jim and Jason
Bendickson♪ (Nancy Marks) Symbolism is everywhere. As
you look around Immanuel’s sanctuary, you will see many symbols that tell who we are
and what we believe. I see Jesus through the artisans that have
blessed our sanctuary with their craftsmanship. A great example is the communion rail. In
2002, several members were asked to tell stories of their memories of Immanuel. Ken and Cleo
Swanson were active members at Immanuel. Their daughter Laurie is a member here. Listen as
Ken tells this story about the Communion Rail (Ken Swanson)The communion rail was put in
there in 1986. It was built in my shop by my son, Matt and I who now lives in Spokane.
We did all the work, the inlays. It is made out of oak and the strips on the rail are
made from rare wood from near the Indian Ocean- indiman peduc is the name of the wood. By the way, all of the panels were
cut out and put together by my son in my shop. I didn’t have anything to do with the panels It has 3 panels on it. Starting at the pulpit end is the open book
with the sign of the alpha and the omega symbolizing the the beginning and the end in Christ which is in the Bible. Then the next panel is the chalice with water.
This is an ancient symbol of the Lord’s supper, which is referred to as the communion
meal or the eucharist. The wafer is broken into 4 pieces symbolizing the breaking of bread and the chalice holds the wine. It also has a little cross on the stem of the chalice as an additional reminder of that sacrificial mark. The next one is the shell with drops symbolizing baptism. The last one is the hands, the big hand of
God reaching down and touching the smaller hand of us. This depicts the means of grace,
the word and the sacrament. I enjoyed building it very much. It took quite
a while but it was very interesting. ♪Music: The Lord’s Prayer by Jim and Jason

Keith Lee listed on NXT’s injury report: WWE Now, Oct. 17, 2019

The road to NXT War Games continued
on last night’s NXT on USA network, but it came with some
painful consequences. I’m Matt Camp and it’s time for
this week’s NXT injury report. The undisputed Eric turned over video
evidence of what appeared to be a bruised and beaten Velveteen Dream at
the hands of North American champion Roderick Strong and
the rest of the men with all the NXT gold. We’re told Dream is not medically
cleared with undisclosed injuries. That means he’s out of his NXT North
American Title rematch against Strong, but more on that later. Boa had retribution on his mind when
he faced Killian Dain just one week after Dain’s heinous attack following
Boa’s loss to Cameron Grimes. Unfortunately for Boa,
Dain had other plans and came away with a dominant victory. In addition to re-aggravating
his rib injury, Boa came out of the match with a neck
injury and is now listed as day-to-day. We saw Tegan Knox make multiple
appearances in NXT UK in September, but last night she made a successful NXT
return against Tynara, the girl with the shiniest wizard look better than
ever with an impressive victory. And most importantly, both of her surgically repaired nice
checked out fine after the match. With Nox medically cleared,
she appear set on challenging for Shayna Baszler’s NXT Women’s Championship. The stakes were raised in the latest
battle between Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic, when general manager
William Regal announced the match would determine the number one contender to
the NXT North American Championship. The two behemoths engaged
in another instant classic. But no winner was determined,
thanks to Roderick Strong’s interference, as he knocked both men off the top rope. After the match, Regal announced both Lee
and Dijakovic would challenge Strong for the North American Championship in
a Triple Threat Match next week. However, it should be noted that Lee
suffered a lower back injury when he landed on the ring apron
following Strong’s attack, and he’s listed as day-to-day. For the latest updates on these injuries, keep it locked on all of WWE’s digital and
social channels. Make sure you tune in to the next exciting
episode of NXT on USA Network next week, and every Wednesday at 8/7 central.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six (1995) – Choppy Video in Windows 95 VirtualBox Guest

Sorry about not including a more user experience-oriented soundtrack. But I didn’t want to muddle the issue with extraneous information. Admittedly, this is the first actual 3D game I’ve tried with my Windows 95 VirtualBox guest (running in a Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit host). I’ve run Ripper, Daryl Gates’ Police Quest: SWAT, King’s Quest 7 and a couple other games in it and, barring some old-school IRQ/DOS-type configuration needs…they’ve all run beautifully. They are not actual 3D games, though… …and this is where the lack of so-called Glide support and perhaps other kinds of 3D game support factors in. But since I’m having a problem not just with the actual 3D portion of the game but with the 2D video playback I was hoping that by tackling the one…I might at the same time get some insight into how to deal with the other. “The Global C-C-C…krrrr…C-Computer Nets” I suppose I could have edited it down without the torture of the whole intro…but bear with me. “I appreciate ya.” “The M-M-Muh…money shot” Stay with me… Just going to load up the first tutorial “kill zone” environment… But, first…an options check to help the curious… I freely admit that checking the graphics quality of older games is a sketchy process…but I swear to you…they aren’t supposed to be THIS blocky and malformed. You can see what the sky is supposed to look like…as well as an idea of the textures for the environment. This is supposed to be a targeting reticle, not a brick on a plane of bricks… It’s the sky that really miffs me… :/ Apparently, hitting ‘delete’ changes your magazine…even though you’re full. In any case…that’s the state of things. The 2D video stutter issue and the blocky 3D graphics (that I totally expect out of the box with VirtualBox…they are very up-front about not supporting this use case). I’d love to hear your constructive feedback. I certainly can use the help. Our grandparents built bridges and went to the moon for kicks… …there’s got to be a way to make this work… First method: Identify the issue.
